Mendel Catholic Prep High School

 DDear Mendel Alumni,Mendel Alumni,

Welcome to the official web site for the alumni of Mendel Catholic Prep High School. The original 40-acre Mendel Campus, located in the historic Roseland Pullman community, on Chicago's far south side remains the jewel of Roseland's architectural landscape.

This web site is intended for the alumni of Mendel Catholic to learn about its illustrious history. Mendel's notable alumni, download applications for the Mendel Hall of Fame and well as view the Mendel Hall of Fame inductees read articles about Mendel that are still being written a generation after its farewell, current events planned for Mendel alumni and the Mendel Shopping Cart where alumni can purchase commemorative apparel to wear their Mendel pride.  A purchase from the Mendel Gear Shopping Cart goes toward the further building of the Mendel Hall of Fame & Museum and maintenance of the website. The Mendel Hall of Fame is our lasting legacy and is dedicated to the many, many great men who have passed through the halls of Mendel Catholic and gone on to become productive citizens in their respective communities, and in our great country.

In addition, I invite all Mendel alumni to join the Men of Tolentine, a group of laymen organized in 1958 by Very Reverend John L. Seary O.S.A., to foster and support vocations in the Augustinian order. Show your thanks to the Augustinians for all they did for you at Mendel by supporting the Men of Tolentine.

Membership includes a tax deductible annual dues donated of your choice and an invitation to the Men of the Year banquet held every October.

We welcome your comments and ideas to improve the web site and welcome your input with pictures, stories, and information on Mendel Alumni. As president of the Mendel Alumni Reunion committee, I ask that you take advantage of what this great website has to offer, and participate in the alumni events, so that we all can do our part to keep the wonderful memories obtained as Mendel students alive and well.
