MENDEL HALL of FAME
The purpose of the Mendel
Catholic Prep High School Hall of Fame shall be to
recognize and perpetuate the achievements of those
students, athletes, coaches, teachers, and friends
who have made significant contributions to Mendel
Catholic Prep High School, through service,
performance, dedication, commitment, accomplishments
and who continue to demonstrate the highest levels
of integrity, character and commitment to the spirit
and legacy that is Mendel Catholic High School.
In recognition, and
respect for the outstanding 37 years of Mendel
excellence, St. Rita High School, Mendel’s
Augustinian brother school has dedicated a wing of
its school to honor the memory of our illustrious
high school.
Qualifications for
Induction to the Mendel Hall of Fame
The Hall of Fame Committee
has set up the following qualification guidelines
for individuals to be considered for induction into
the Mendel Hall of Fame.
1. Exceptional
academic achievement at Mendel.
2. Exceptional
leadership shown as an administrator, teacher, coach
or friend of Mendel Catholic High School.
3. Exceptional
athletic achievement at Mendel, in college, or in
professional sports.
4. Exceptional
positive impact for Mendel through leadership, shown
in academic, business, professional, religious or
civic community endeavors.
5. Commitment
to the spirit of Mendel through participation in
alumni activities, or Men of Tolentine activities.
6. Be
a person of integrity and good character.
7. Nominations
must be made on an official nominating form.
Nomination forms will be kept permanently and
reevaluated yearly.
8. Candidates
many be nominated and inducted posthumously.
9. Any
supporting materials such as newspaper articles may
be submitted with the nomination form.
10.A photo must accompany
your nomination form or it will not be accepted for
consideration. Absolutely no exceptions.
